Hi, my name is Franchesca!

I want to personally thank you for being here and taking the time to learn a little about me!

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and over the years, I have lived in a few different cities. However, my husband Brandon and I have found ourselves in Washington State! Here are a few facts about me:

I’m a Lab Nerd and have spent most of my adult life (before photography) working in Lab Medicine

• I’m a former World Champion Speed Skater (on rollerblades)

• I’m passionate about Cycling

• I’m a Poodle Mom

• I’m obsessed with Harry Potter

• I’m a curly girl and started a passion project called the #CurlyPhotoSeries

It's not uncommon for people to have a typical story of how their photography journey began, such as inheriting a camera from a family member or taking a class in high school. However, my journey started in a unique and unexpected way. I had cameras as a child, but they never sparked my interest until I found my very first film camera at The Good Will. I then took it on a vacation to Mexico and that was it, I was hooked! From then on, I continued my interest in film photography while expanding my knowledge in the digital world after buying my first digital camera. This is when I knew that I could make photography a career and that is exactly what I did!

Film photography is my origin story; it's what drew me into the world of photography in the first place. While I still primarily shoot digitally, I still have a deep appreciation for film and will continue to incorporate it into my work as it holds a special place in my heart!
